Going forward we are doing a minor name change. We have carried the Name T3P Ranch AirGun Solutions while sales were at the forefront of our business but we feel it needs a change to better reflect our new Airgun Hunting and Shooting focus!

T3P Ranch AirGun Sports is the name we have chosen. It will fortunately not require changing of the website url and would probably have been mostly unnoticed were it not for this announcement.

Many of today’s hunters are used to “hunting” from the comfort of a blind looking over a feeder or bait station where they simply snipe the animal when it camly wanders in to feed. We call this a harvest NOT a hunt. Many of today’s “hunters” also are looking for a Hunting Lodge “Experience” where meals are catered, a bar with alcoholic drinks is provided, beds have clean crisp sheets, rooms are air conditioned and heated, Downed Animals are retrieved from the field by staff members who clean and dress the animal and provide the meat ready to go in a cooler for the trip home. If this is the type of “Hunt” your looking for we can’t help you!

What we offer is TRUE / REAL Airgun Hunting. No Blinds, No bait stations or feeders, No Lodges, No Alcohol, No Catered Meals, No Staff to see to your needs and wants. What we give you is a Hunt like your Great Great Grandfather had. An 1890’s Hunt, Raw and Dirty. You will Hunt by walking and stalking your game. You will need to know how to stalk, how to read signs, what different animal tracks look like, how to determine the age of a game trail you might find and if it is currently in use. You will need to know how to clean and process your own animals, You will need a Tent, Sleeping Bag and camping accessories, You will need to know how to gather downed mesquite to prepare a campfire to cook your own meals in a manner that does not risk a wildfire. You will not have access to porta johns or shower facilities so you must bring your own. You will be expected to pack it in and pack it out. You will find out how to “rough it” and when you succeed you will have the joy of knowing that you did it ALL on your own and could survive in the country without most of today’s modern conveniences.

Success is not guaranteed nor is the sighting of any particular species as it all depends on your skills and if the animals are present at the time of your hunt  …..  that is why it is called “Hunting” but if you don’t score a kill you still had the primitive experience and it is not about the destination, but more about the journey to get there! The destination is Icing on the Cake so to speak or the meat in the cooler as it were.

If your still with me and this sounds like the kind of “Real Airgun Hunt” you might enjoy then we are here to provide the place for you to carry out your dream of a Primitive Hunt like few places offer in America Today!

We do have a 4500 PSI Fill Station and a 400 yard primitive shooting range as well for your use. There is also a dirt “tank” (pond) stocked with catfish if you want to fish!

E-Mail us HERE, Use our Contact Form and get in touch with us to Book A Hunt today or use our Contact Information Here. We offer in Season big game species available in Texas as well as non-game species and especially feral hog’s and coyote’s year round!

It is with great Joy I can announce that once again FX-USA has graciously agreed to allow us to purchase their fine line of Airguns and accessories as well as repair and upgrade parts for their product line. We are looking forward to a renewed relationship with FX-USA and hope to grow with them for many years to come. We have always believed that FX is one of the top innovators in the airgun industry and have the greatest respect for what they are doing for the entire industry. Since the 2019 IWA we see the launch of many new guns and items such as the Dreamline series of highly user customizable guns allowing an AR platform build type of experience, The new Impact MK II with continuously evolving improvements and new offerings including a .357 that is due out in time for this fall’s hunting season, New offerings in the Crown line of guns including many improvements and updates as well as the new Value Line that place high end features within the price range of the AR series of firearms and many new accessories which includes the anticipated doppler radar pocket chronograph. There will also be parts and upgrade kits available for purchase as soon as they are available from FX-USA. Many thanks to the team at FX USA … Jon, Alex, Ernest, Newman, Alberto and all the others for providing this opportunity to work with them once again.

I am happy to announce that I will be able to source FX Accessories for the current FX line of airguns. In addition I still have relationships with all my other previous suppliers. Business will, however be handled quite differently going forward. I will not be stocking many items and will NOT play in the online marketplace since it is saturated with big players whom I cannot compete with in the same retail space especially when they already offer discounts to various forum members at a 10% to 20% rate.

I will be moving forward in the fashion of businesses that built this once great country … word of mouth, integrity, honesty and great value for your hard earned money. My main focus will be Airgun ONLY Hunting for those who are not fortunate enough to have a place to hunt. All Texas game in season and non game species will be available to hunt on my 500 acre cattle ranch. If you would like to hunt for a nominal fee or need any supplies please do not hesitate to contact me via the contact page on this site. You will most likely be glad you did!

09 November 2018  It has unfortunately come time to rally all Texas airgunners once again. The TPWD is rumored to be considering verification of the muzzle energy of your chosen .30 or larger caliber airguns using nothing more than manufacturer specifications (which are usually exaggerated) which every airgunner knows would be the WRONG way to determine the legal status of each airgun for hunting big game in Texas. The department needs to become educated to the fact that airguns are highly variable and modifiable to many power ranges. The only way to determine the power output at the muzzle is via projectile weight and muzzle velocity. Please make an effort to contact any and everyone in the TPWD to educate them to these facts. When an e-mail address or phone number and contact person are known they will be posted here. For now you can try to  contact Clayton Wolf who headed up the rule  or Clay Roberts who has been made aware of this issue by another concerned airgunner.  The TPWD “contact us” number is 800-792-1112 . Call or at least try to e-mail: education@tpwd.texas.gov

23 August 2018 Reports are coming in that Airgun Hunting for Big Game is now legal in Texas. Links will be posted as received.

20 July 2018:

The Texas Register has been published as expected and a new proposed Airgun Rule is included.

https://www.sos.state.tx.us/texreg/pdf/backview/0720/0720prop.pdf

Here is a brief breakdown For Big Game and Turkey Airgun Hunting in Texas:

PCP ONLY, .30 Minimum, 150 grain at 800 fps OR any combination of bullet and velocity to produce 215 ft/lb.

Squirrel and Upland game birds may be taken with any .177 caliber and larger using any power source

Lets rally (once again) and get this passed. We need all Texas Airgunners to make a positive comment on the rule during the next 4 weeks or make plans for attending the next meeting of the TPWD Commissioners in Austin, Texas in late August to show support and get a chance to be heard directly by the Commissioner
