The Texas Register has been published as expected and a new proposed Airgun Rule is included.

Here is a brief breakdown For Big Game and Turkey Airgun Hunting in Texas:
PCP ONLY, .30 Minimum, 150 grain at 800 fps OR any combination of bullet and velocity to produce 215 ft/lb.
Squirrel and Upland game birds may be taken with any .177 caliber and larger using any power source
Lets rally (once again) and get this passed. We need all Texas Airgunners to make a positive comment on the rule during the next 4 weeks or make plans for attending the next meeting of the TPWD Commissioners in Austin, Texas in late August to show support and get a chance to be heard directly by the Commissioner
